it was the jubilee year
moving as an idea
in listening words
and written whispering

occasional shrieks of joy

tents constructing themselves in the distances
I am standing near the window
doing the dishes. doing the
wandering mind thing again.
time for fattening the fallen idols
I imagine filtering fancy fritteroil for the late arrivals
and the heavy drinkers


wondering what tie to put on
as I celebrate the decade
the ten years of wearing the Jesus suit.
with the sometimes ill fit

and in the day before yesterday
my star came to me
and unfolded my imagination
like a gallery
in the capital of an undiscovered country.
